Repairing A Megaflo
Megaflos store water at high pressure and need special maintenance by licensed service engineers.
This is because they often store water under high temperatures, and that's why having an authorised engineer is important.
Sadly not all plumbers are licensed to work on Megaflos or unvented hot water cylinders.
If your Megaflo hasn't been installed by a licensed engineer, in particular if it hasn't been installed to Building Regulations requirements, you can (quite literally) be be storing up significant problems.
We are licensed to work on Megaflos and unvented hot water cylinders, including repairs to their special components such as:
- Inlet (or combination) valves
- Temperature valves
- Pressure relief valves
- Immersion heater elements
- Safety seals and gaskets
- Non-return valves
We also have the special tools required to repair Megaflos (which have special locking rings on immersion heater elements to keep high pressure cylinders safe).
